About Flying Dutchman RV Resort

Meet the Founders of Flying Dutchman

Terrace Village RV Park Staff

Kars and Grace moved to Waxahachie, Texas from the Netherlands in 1984 with their four children. While in the Netherlands, Kars and Grace owned and operated a dairy farm for 20 years. Kars wanted to expand his horizons, and decided to place roots in Waxahachie, TX. He owned and operated Fri-Tex Dairy and farmed several hundred acres of land for 30 years.

At the age of 75, Kars decided to repurpose some of his farm land into a housing development. Once that project was successfully completed, Kars was still not quite ready to retire.

Having some farm land left, and finding a need for an RV resort, his next phase in life was to make that happen. With the help from his family, his goal is to make the Flying Dutchman RV Resort the perfect stay for you and your family.
